Every school holidays I wrack my brain trying to come up with activities for the children to do that is 1: Preferably close to home, 2: Is inclusive of the various age groups of my kids 3: Is fun and 4: Isn't going to break the bank. So when I found out about the Way out West Festival in Casula Powerhouse, which ticked all my boxes, I was so happy! What is the Way out West Festival, you ask? It began in 2011 as a contemporary festival for children which is based on showcasing the Performance and Arts. Over the four days in July there will be an array of theatre, dance, early childhood activities, music, film and hands-on activities at the Casula Powerhouse Liverpool. To me, it just sounds like a fun-filled adventure for the family. There is a full program available on the website here so you can schedule your activities.
